Lucero Hogaza León (; born 29 August 1969) is an entertainer. She is a multi-platinum singer in Mexico and has sung in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. Lucero has sold more than 30 million records worldwide. She is often referred to as "La Novia de América" ("the Americas' Girlfriend"). As a child she starred in the popular Mexican children shows '' Alegrias de Mediodia'' and '' Chispita''. She went on to release a series of successful albums. Some of her songs peaked on top of most of the Latin charts including the ''Billboard'' charts in the US. She received her first leading role in the film '' Coqueta'' and went on to film a total of seven movies. Lucero starred in the leading role of nine Mexican telenovelas and has won more TVyNovelas Awards than any other actress. ''Lucero'' is the tenth album from Mexico City, Mexican pop music singer and actress Lucero (actress), Lucero. It was released on 1993 and is often cited as ''Veleta''. This album was the first Lucero album released only in CD and Compact Cassette, cassette, without being printed on LP album, LP. Had two formats: a digipack special edition & and the normal case with the bonus tracks, selling 350,000 copies on the former and reaching half-million status with the later. It is estimated that in total have sold over 1 million copies, certified by two gold albums and one platinum. The first single (and most successful) was "Veleta" (Vane), and the singer once again faced the challenge to remove Luis Miguel's "America, America" from the No. 1 spot in México. She accomplished that feat. "Veleta" is also her highest peak (along with Cuéntame (Lucerito album), Cuentame back in 1989) at the ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Tracks charts, hitting No. 2 on 1 May 1993. The Criollo (also known as Creole, Chilludo, Pampa, Colombian, Lucero, Tarhumara, Uruguayan, and Venezuelan) is a breed of domestic sheep originating in the highlands of South and Central America. ''Ready Player One'' is a 2011 science fiction novel, and the debut novel of American author Ernest Cline. The story, set in a dystopia in 2045, follows protagonist Wade Watts on his search for an Easter egg in a worldwide virtual reality game, the discovery of which would lead him to inherit the game creator's fortune and the game itself. Cline sold the rights to publish the novel in June 2010, in a bidding war to the Crown Publishing Group (a division of Random House). The book was published on August 16, 2011. An audiobook narrated by Wil Wheaton was released the same day.
